Exercise Timer Beta Privacy Policy

Exercise Timer Beta is developed and operated by S. Guerrini under the Photolution brand. In this policy, “we” refers to the developer.

This policy covers the current iPhone beta, version 0.1.0, distributed through Apple TestFlight. It describes this app's current features; it does not describe every Photolution app or a future service.

Information stored on your device

The app saves your workout name, optional purpose, preparation/work/rest durations, interval count, and sound and voice preferences on your device so your settings are available when you reopen it. The current workout's progress is held in memory while the app is running.

The app works offline and does not upload these settings to a developer-operated server. It has no user account, advertising, tracking SDK, or developer-operated analytics service. It does not request access to your microphone, camera, contacts, location, or Health data. Audible cues use generated tones and Apple's speech synthesis features.

iOS may include app settings in device backups, depending on your backup settings. Apple or your chosen backup service handles those backups under its own terms and privacy policy.

Apple TestFlight information

TestFlight automatically gives Apple and the developer beta usage and crash information. This can include device and operating-system details, app/build version, installation and session counts, and crash reports. Email invitations may associate testing with your name and email address. If you submit feedback, its comments and any screenshots or diagnostics you include are also shared with the developer.

We use this information to operate the beta, investigate problems, respond to feedback, and improve the app. We do not sell TestFlight data, use it for advertising, or disclose it to third parties. We do not forward identifiable TestFlight reports to third-party AI services.

Apple controls TestFlight's automatic collection and its own retention. See Apple's TestFlight privacy information for details and choices available through Apple. TestFlight's automatic beta data collection cannot be switched off while you use the app through TestFlight.

Information you send directly

If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever information you choose to include. We use direct correspondence to answer your request, troubleshoot, and improve the app. Email delivery and storage involve the email providers used by you and the developer. Please avoid sending passwords, payment details, medical information, or unrelated personal information.

Retention and deletion

You can change saved workout settings inside the app. Deleting the app from your device removes its local app data; merely offloading the app may retain it. Copies in device backups are managed through your backup provider's controls and can reappear if you restore a backup.

Developer-held feedback, correspondence, and diagnostic copies are retained only while needed to respond to you, investigate an issue, improve the beta, or meet a legal obligation. When those purposes end, we delete the copies or remove information identifying you. A report may be retained while its issue remains unresolved. Apple's independently retained TestFlight records are governed by Apple's policy and controls.

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information held by the developer using the contact below. We may need enough information to identify your records and confirm that the request is yours. If we must retain information for a legal obligation, we will explain the applicable limitation. Stopping testing does not by itself delete previously submitted feedback.

Changes

We will update this policy if the app's data practices change. New features such as accounts, cloud storage, or an in-app feedback service will be described before they begin collecting information. The effective date above identifies this policy version.
